I would like to personally thank you again for visiting our website and tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Albany, OR. I have been married for over 18 years to a wonderful woman and friend. We have 3 daughters, and a 2 year old granddaughter who I must say is a little spoiled:). After graduating high school I moved to Texas. This is where I began my construction career. I started out on a framing crew in Houston building multi million dollar homes. The company moved to Austin were I supervised a crew in general construction (framing, siding, roofing). I decided after several years in Texas, that Oregon is where I truly wanted to live.
Staying in the construction field. I began a career in the manufactured housing industry that lasted 20 years. I started off working as a Quality Control inspector for one of the local manufacturers. I then spent 15 years working for the State of Oregon Building Codes Division as an inspector and lead worker for the manufactured housing section. During my time with the state I spent 4 years contracted with the federal government (HUD), to perform quality audits at manufactured housing plants throughout the United States. I spent many years working with homeowners, manufacturers, and dealerships on consumer assistance cases. These cases involved determining if and what the issues were, through an investigative inspection. Then determine who the responsible party was, and follow up through repair. I also spent 7 years as an instructor for the State of Oregon Manufactured Dwelling and Park Specialty Code licensing certification program for statewide inspectors and installers.
